WACA Donates to a Maltese Charity
During the 56th AGA WACA donated school supplies and cash to an educational charity in Malta managed by the former President of Malta, Her Excellency Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca. She graced the Assembly to brief the participants on her various missions and to receive the donations. It is a long tradition with WACA to donate to a local charity at its AGAs held all over the world. WACA also continues to support charities in Madeira and Mauritius.
Seen in the attachment is Her Excellency, second from the left, receiving the school supplies from the WACA Ambassador for Vulnerable Children, Anneline Hetland Tjessem. WACA President, Maga Ramasamy, is on Her Excellency’s right and WACA’s Chief Marketing/Events Officer, Silva, Kandiah, is seen on the left of Anneline.
Scent of Colours
The Scent of Colours initiative led by WACA Ambassador for Blind Children, Suheil Baqaeen, empowers visually impaired individuals and people with disabilities to express themselves through art. He organises workshops and interactive exhibitions where participants create talents and promote social inclusion. The initiative combines art and education to create a positive lasting impact.
Attached is a picture of a Certificate of Appreciation that was presented to Suheil at a recent trade event under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
