Executive Committee Meeting
An excellent and most productive Executive Committee (EC) Meeting was held in Amman on 7/8 March. The meeting was held in the private offices of the Regional V.P. Africa, Indian Ocean Islands and Middle East, Yousef Yousef. The EC wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Yousef and all in the Jordan Interline Club for the help, assistance and generosity they were given to ensure the meeting was such a success.
A summary of the minutes will be circulated in due course once they have been prepared and approved.

International Events and Special Projects
The following is being communicated to you by the Acting V.P. International Events and Special Projects, Elaine Miller.
Since the last All Clubs Messages we have had a very busy and productive bi-annual meeting in Amman, Jordan. Our gratitude and thanks go to Yousef and the Jordan Interline Club for all their hospitality.
The 2008 Interline Celebration
I was able to give a detailed report to the EC regarding the 41st AGA to be held in Nassau the end of September and they were very positive in their determination to make this AGA a very special experience. The planning for the 2008 Interline Celebration is in the capable hands of Ann Albury and her energetic committee and they are working hard to make our visit a most memorable one. It will be time for sun, surf and fun.
Visas
I have mentioned earlier that now is the time to be checking as to whether or not you will require a visa to visit the Bahamas. If there is no Bahamian Embassy near you, Ann advises she will assist getting your visa if you can forward the proper documents to her by courier and she will personally have them delivered to the government offices to get the visa issued and then courier it back to you but she will need enough time, so don't delay. Check what your requirements for travel to Nassau are for your particular country.
Auction
I again want to appeal to everyone to consider contributing to the annual WACA Auction and welcome your donations of quality and interesting items that will create interest and help us to have a successful fundraiser.
Charity
We will again be collecting children's books, educational supplies and health items for the schools and children's hospital wing.
Flags
One of the things the organizing committee would like help with is in obtaining individual national flags approximately 3x5 feet (1x1.7 metres) or 4'x6' feet (1.2x2 metres). They would like to obtain them well in advance of the AGA. Therefore, if we could mail or forward these as soon as possible, it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe they could be brought to the respective Regional Meeting and then sent in one package to Nassau. The flags will be returned after the AGA.
Regional Meetings
On the subject of Regional Meetings, they will be happening mostly in May starting with the European Region from 1-4 May in Lisbon, then the North American Region in New York from 9-11 May, the Far East and Australasia Region from 16-18 May in Bangkok and the Latin American and Caribbean Region on 30/31 May in Nassau. I wish you all a successful and well attended event and a chance to renew friendships.
International Events
Coming up is the Dodo's Nest package in Mauritius from 2-7 June followed by Marvellous Madagascar from 8-13 June. As well, we have the famous Jamaica Jump-Up from 5-8 June and the Fantastic Finland Sauna Party in Helsinki from 13-15 June. Through the summer the Hong Kong Club will present Discovery China 2008 from 4-14 July. All these events lead up to our 2008 Interline Celebration in Nassau, Bahamas, from 28 September to 3 October with a post-AGA Tour to Eleuthera from 3-6 October. The fall will see several more tours offered by Portugal and Jordan with the Grande Festa from 9-13 October and Syria and Jordan Adventures from 27 October to 2 November ending the year with the Cairo and Nile Cruise from 3-9 November. Time to check our calendars and holiday time to see what events will fit with our schedules and get signed up for a memorable time!
Grand Venture Bonanza
The new Grand Venture Bonanza tickets are ready for distribution and can be obtained from Keith at Headquarters if you need more. The first draw date at the end of April is fast approaching and we need to get the ticket stubs turned into our headquarters office. Let's get behind the selling of these tickets and have happy winners. We are still requesting more prizes and appreciate everyone's support.
Final Thoughts
Remember WACA is you and each of us plays an important part in its success and future. Everyone doing a little makes the job easier and provides our organisation with the international appeal we desire.
Yours in interlining,
Keith Miller
