40th Annual General Assembly (AGA)
Delegate Credential Form and Questionnaire

Many Clubs have still not submitted the 40th AGA Delegate Credential Form and Questionnaire. Would all Clubs please ensure this most important document is completed and returned to WACA Headquarters as soon as possible.
Registration
Deposits must now be sent by telegraphic or wireless transfer accompanied by the application form advises Regional V.P., Yousef Yousef. Cheques will no longer be accepted. He his happy to report that the number of participants has reached almost 300.
Health Precautions
It is highly recommended that interliners check with their local doctor or health clinic prior to departure as they would for any trip away from home base. This is especially important for any interliners who will be visiting the Kruger National Park where protection against malaria should be taken.
Visas
As there is little over one month to go before the AGA commences, important information about visas contained in the All Clubs Message 12/2007 is being repeated.

Charity
Information about the AGA charity contained in the All Clubs Message 11/2007 is also being repeated for the benefit of all participants.
The AGA charity project will focus toward the eradication of poverty and assistance to the children affected by HIV/AIDs in Cape Town. There are two day care centres for the infected children which are run by an organisation called the FIKELELA Aids Project for Children (www.fikelela.org.za) and are supported by the Reverend Desmond Tutu. Interliners are requested not to bring toys with them but to bring any of the following items:
Baby Care Packages
Comfort boxes (from ages 2-8), small tubes of toothpaste, small toothbrushes, small packs of sealed tissues, small packs of sealed sanitary towels and small baby lotions or baby powders
Educational Packages
Aprons, pencils, scissors, flip fine (20 pages), math sets, lunch boxes, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, pens (blue, black, red), exam pads, erasers, chubby wax crayons, pencil crayons and hard covered paper pads.List of Participants
A list showing the names of all registered interliners will be available soon an will be sent out with the next All Clubs Message.
Pre-AGA Tours
Extra Nights
Regional V.P., Yousef Yousef, has been advised that the handling agent has been unable to book extra nights in Johannesburg. The WACA organising committee is, therefore, looking into the situation and is trying to get extra nights booked via a GTA on one the hotels' distribution system. Affected interliners will be sent an update of the situation within the next week.
E-Tickets
E-tickets from Johannesburg to Cape Town for participants on the pre-AGA tours will be issued and sent to them next week.

Events Calendar
New Listings

Anghor Wat and Vietnam, Thailand Excursion and the China Capitals Tour are three exciting tours being organised in March by the Airline Club of Thailand.
The Vancouver Interline Club will be hosting another of its popular Wine Tours from 26-30 May .
The always exciting Jamaica Jump Up being organised by the Jamaica Interline Club will be held from 5-8 June.
