40th Annual General Assembly (AGA)
Registrations
Over 130 interliners have now registered of the AGA reports Regional V.P., Yousef Yousef. Member Clubs are urged to promote this special Anniversary event at every opportunity.
Pre- and Post-AGA Tours
The pre-AGA tours Johannesburg/Sun City/Kruger Park (Safari)/Durban and Johannesburg/Kruger Park (Safari)/Johannesburg have many registrations as does the post-AGA tour Cape Town to Port Elizabeth via the Garden Route. Plenty of spaces are, however, still available on the pre-AGA tour Johannesburg/Pilansberg Game Reserve and Gold Reef City/Johannesburg.
Cost of the Packages
There has already been a relatively significant change in the exchange rate for the South African rand (ZAR) against the United States dollar (USD) and the Euro (EUR) since the last All Clubs Message. The rate of exchange change is now approximately USD 1 = ZAR 7.30 and EUR 1 = ZAR 9.60 making the current cost of the packages as follows:
AGA: USD 743.00 or EUR 565.00.
Johannesburg/Sun City/Kruger Park (Safari)/Durban (plus flight to Cape Town): USD 1,171.00 or EUR 891.00.
Johannesburg/Kruger Park (Safari)/Johannesburg (plus flight to Cape Town): USD 674.00 or EUR 513.00.
Johannesburg/Pilansberg Game Reserve and Gold Reef City/Johannesburg (plus flight to Cape Town): USD 529.00 or EUR 402.00.
Cape Town to Port Elizabeth via the Garden Route: USD 856.00 or EUR 651.00.

A promotional flyer providing general information for Member Clubs about the 40th AGA has been prepared by Secretary General, Julian Chau, and is attached.

WACA Grand Venture Bonanza
Some fabulous prizes for 2007 have been offered as follows:
a package for one person at the Inter-Regional Get Together in Prague from 20-22 April donated by the Hungarian Interline Club;
a package for one person at the Inter-Islands Festival - Mauritius and Rodrigues from 4-7 June donated by the Indian Ocean Islands Interline Club;
a package for one person at the 40th WACA Annual General Assembly in Cape Town from 16-21 September donated by the Africa, Indian Ocean Islands and Middle East Region;
a weekend in a Palm Springs, California, condominium donated by the San Diego Interline Club;
four cash prizes of USD 100.00 each.
A promotional flyer is being prepared and complete details will be published in due course.
Member Clubs are urged to sell as many Bonanza tickets as possible to generate much needed revenues for the Association. Clubs requiring tickets for this purpose should order them from Headquarters and sell them as soon as possible as the first draw is scheduled to be held in April. It is hoped that more prizes will be forthcoming from Member Clubs to assist WACA in this revenue generating initiative - can your Club donate a prize?

Events Calendar
Inter-Regional Get Together and the Post-Tour
Let's promote the common event for the European Region and the Africa, Indian Ocean Islands and Middle East Region because it is the first time that golden Prague and Best of Bohemia will be presented in the 40 years of WACA writes Regional V.P. Europe, Peter Gilardoni. The WACA President as well as almost 50 interline friends from four continents have confirmed their attendance. The registration deadline has now been extended to 18 March so let's go to golden Bohemia!
Discovery China 2007 - Tour 1 (Minority Cultures of Guizhou and Guangxi)
The Hong Kong Interline Club has made the difficult decision to cancel this tour due to insufficient registrations. The Discovery China 2007, Roof of the World (Spiritual Tibet) tour from 5-15 May is definitely going ahead and spaces are still available.
Inter-Islands Festival - Mauritius and Rodrigues
Updated information has been prepared and a new date of 6-9 June has been set for the Inter-Islands Festival in the gorgeous tropical islands of Mauritius and Rodrigues.
Jordan Adventure and Diving at the Red Sea
The date of the Jordan Adventure is from 23-25 October not 20-25 October as shown in the last All Clubs Message.
New Listing - Cairo and Nile Cruise
Following the Jordan Adventure, the Jordan Interline Club invite all interliners to join them on a fabulous tour of Cairo and cruise on the river Nile from 29 October-5 November. Visiting the famed pyramids and Aswan dam amongst other things, the tour promises to be a once in a lifetime experience.
