
The club was founded in 1961 and has a very proud history. In 1982 and 1989 it was selected the WACA Club of the year; in 1987, 2000 and 2003 it was selected as the North American Regional Club of the year. The club boasts nine WACA Members of Honour. The club has had members elected to positions on the WACA Executive Committee including President, Secretary General, VP Public Relations, VP Sports and International Events, Regional Vice President for North America and all the Managers of WACA HQ have come from the club.
At the present time, activities consist of monthly dinners with the drawing of airline passes kindly donated by the various airlines serving Montreal. There is also a tombola held annually in May in conjunction with a local charity. The North American Regional Meeting was held in Montreal in April 2006.
