December Newsletter
V.P. International Events and Special Projects, Elaine Miller, sends the following message for December.
Greetings to all as we approach the busiest season of the year!
Our thanks and congratulations on a great job to Rosemarie for the latest WACA World News. It is never a small feat to bring all the information together, with pictures, to help keep us informed and up to date with what is happening in our WACA World.
We will always have fond memories of our journeys and the friends we meet and cherish from around the world. What a wonderful gift we have to be able to come together in friendship each year and share new experiences and places. This is an enviable opportunity we enjoy as members of WACA and not to be taken lightly. So many times we hear, from the people we are in contact with, how they would like to be able to travel and see the world the way we are able to do on a regular basis.
In a few weeks we will be welcoming a new year 2010 and it will be full of excitement, apprehension and anticipation of what the year will hold for all of us. One thing we should keep in mind, as we will look forward to next year’s Interline Celebration and AGA in Recife, is that it will be an election year and we should start thinking ahead to having dedicated and capable people come forward to lead WACA into the next decade. There will be several openings as current members will step down from their positions. Please keep this in mind and give careful consideration to taking an active part in running your organization.

Yours in interlining,

Keith Miller
