42nd Annual General Assembly (AGA): The 2009 Interline Celebration
Delegate Credential Form
Member Clubs are reminded that the 42nd AGA Delegate Credential Form should be completed and returned to WACA Headquarters by the 4 August deadline. Submitting the Form by the deadline is most important as Secretary General, Julian Chau, advises that no delegate/alternate delegate will be allowed to vote at the Assembly unless the duly completed Delegate Credential Form has been received at WACA Headquarters by the deadline date in accordance with 2.4.5(ii) of the Bylaws. Confirmation of receipt of the Credential Forms will be sent from Headquarters.
Registration Deadline
Interliners are reminded that 4 August is also the deadline for submitting their deposits to attend the 2009 Interline Celebration.
General Information (No. 2)
Attached is an updated comprehensive document outlining the major aspects of the AGA and most frequently asked questions compiled by Secretary General, Julian Chau. [info]
Post-AGA Tour: Parameswara Sojourn
Regretfully, the Airline Club of Singapore has cancelled the Parameswara Sojourn package due to a poor response.

July Newsletter
V.P. International Events and Special Projects, Elaine Miller, sends the following message for July.
Finally, we are enjoying beautiful summer weather in the eastern part of Canada and hope you are all enjoying the same. In some parts of the world, this is winter but for us it is a welcome time of the year. We are also looking forward to our next Interline Celebration in Kuala Lumpur which is fast approaching.
A lot of planning has gone into the preparations and I know there is more information coming from Julian and his hard working committee. Our Headquarters Manager, Keith, is getting the information out to the Clubs and appreciates everyone's cooperation in sending their Delegate Credentials, registrations and fees on time. If you are planning events during the 2010 year, please ensure you include them on your Delegate Credential Form. To avoid any problems later, please be certain each Club has their documentation completed so they can be properly represented. It is your responsibility to meet the deadlines. We want our meetings to run smoothly within the allotted times and then there will be more time to socialise and enjoy each others company and friendship.
In addition to the Delegate Credentials, I would like to remind our individual Clubs which have held packages over the last WACA year to fill in the required information on the prepared form and forward copies to myself, Headquarters and to the VP Finance. You can locate the form on the WACA website under Forms and Reports. All fees must be paid to WACA by the Annual General Assembly. I need this information, as soon as possible, so that I can complete my report to the Assembly. I very much appreciate your assistance.
We will all be busy come September so keep in mind, while it is still early, to set aside items you plan to bring as a donation to our main fund raiser the "TOMBOLA". This proved to be a fun event and I know I can depend on everyone to help make it a success again this year. We will have an area set up near the registration area to accept your "TOMBOLA" donations and also any school supplies, colouring books, crayons and/or toys that we will collect for our charitable gift. Every little bit helps and those less fortunate appreciate your generosity.
I have been reminding all the Regional Vice Presidents and Clubs to make sure you bring your national flags for the opening ceremonies. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact me. We want everyone to be represented.
Our Regional Nights are an important part of our celebrations and we hope all clubs will participate. It is worth the extra effort to assist your respective regions to promote your Club and your part of the world with samplings of your country's special delicacies, costumes, music and ethnic backgrounds. JOIN IN THE FUN AND PARTICIPATE!
