WACA Youth Program

The WACA Youth Program is designed for the children of all WACA members, to learn more about the world and it's people by visiting WACA families in various parts of the world.   During the stay they will be taken into the home as "one of the family", not as a tourist, and therefore become more familiar with the true way of life in the country they visit.   A chance they would rarely get otherwise.

Conditions for participating

  • Open to all children between the ages of 12 and 17  of members of WACA  clubs, corporate member clubs and members-at-large.

  • Participants must complete the proper application form available from WACA HQ .
  • A registration fee of US$10 must be enclosed with the application form and mailed to WACA HQ
  • Participants should travel non-stop.   When this is not possible, the two families concerned should make the easiest and most direct travel arrangements available.

  • There are three ways in which you can participate:

    1. Reciprocate
    2. Send your child
    3. Host a child
    • You need not have children of your own in order to participate.   If you would like to host a WACA kid, open up your doors and join the fun - the VP International Events and Special Projects co-ordinates the program.
